From there, the course shifts into practical classroom strategies\u2014how to foster empathy, build community, offer meaningful choices, and adapt your teaching to meet diverse learner needs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">You\u2019ll also critically explore representation in teaching materials, asking important questions about whose voices are (and aren\u2019t) being heard. You\u2019ll receive weekly recordings of each class, full transcripts of the text chat during class, assigned readings and a PDF of the PowerPoint slides. He taught materials writing for many years on the online MATESOL program of the New School in New York. &nbsp;He has authored a number of ELT related books for Cambridge both for students and teachers. These include two methodology handbooks: <em>Working with Images <\/em>and <em>Language Learning with Digital Video<\/em> (with Paul Driver). He is also co-author of <em>Evolve <\/em>and <em>Evolve Digital<\/em>, a coursebook series for adults and <em>Eyes Open\/Uncover<\/em> for teenagers.
