Certificate of Completion
Participants working toward a Certificate of Completion will be expected to spend about 20 hours on class work and will earn 20 professional development hours upon successful completion of the course. This includes attending all four live sessions (live or through recordings), participating in class forum discussions and completing assigned tasks.
Certificate of Accomplishment
In addition to the requirements for the Certificate of Completion, participants working toward a Certificate of Accomplishment will be expected to design a task-based lesson for their learners. Participants will earn 30 professional development hours upon successful completion of certificate requirements.
Certificate of Distinction
Participants opting for additional mentoring with a Certificate of Distinction will receive professional feedback and guidance on creating a task-based learning curriculum. They will also receive personal advice for how to establish a task-based teaching program in their school. Mentoring will continue for a further 2 weeks after the end of the course. Participants will earn 40 professional development hours upon successful completion of certificate requirements.
