In this course, you will assess your transferrable skills, define what you love about the ELT field and learn how to start your journey as a teacherpreneur.
Week 1: Introduction to the World of Teacherpreneurship
In this session, you will learn the difference between a freelancer and teacherpreneur. Complete a self-assessment to discover your own Transferrable/Professional Skills, determine that you love about the ELT field, and what skills you have to offer.
Week 2: Your Online Presence
This week, we will look at the importance of social media, learn about branding and discovering your niche. We will look at the do’s and don’ts of social media and developing a professional online presence using a specially designed check-list for teacherpreneurs.
Week 3: Monetizing your Professional Skills
In this session, we will look at most common ways to earn additional income.
Week 4: Moving Forward
In the final session, we will look at examples of successful teachers to teacherpreneurs. You will have an opportunity to share your online presence, get feedback and connect with others to increase your network to transition from teacher to teacherpreneur.
Each live session will involve discussion and trying out of activities as well as presentation of ideas and be followed by an online task.
By the end of the course, successful participants will have the knowledge they need to enter the exciting world of teacherpreneurship.
